Roen collaborated on this collection with the incredibly talented Tokyo-based artist Keisuke Shoda, founder of Studio The Blue Boy. Known for his playful aesthetic that blends traditional Japanese style with a modern, whimsical twist, his artwork beautifully captures the essence of some people's favorite parts of Japan.
Roen candles are hand poured in ROEN's Southern California studio using a coconut and soy wax blend for a natural, clean burn. They use lead-free cotton wicks and premium fragrance oils. All of their candles are vegan, cruelty-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free, carcinogen-free and packaged in fully recyclable materials.
These beautiful hand-painted ceramics are designed to be re-loved and reused.

Most importantly, make sure to trim your wick to 1/4" before every relighting. Light for 2-3 hours on initial burn, allowing the melt pool to reach the edge of the jar.
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. If you experience sooting: simply extinguish the flame, trim the wick, and re-light. If your wick is off-center, guide it back towards the middle once you blow out the flame. Discontinue use when 1/4" of wax remains in the jar. Please note, candle jar will be extremely hot when lit so please handle with care and keep away from your adorable children and pets.
For best burn, wait 5 hours between burns to allow wax to properly cool.

What began as a labor of love quickly evolved into a true passion and eventually, a small business. By drawing inspiration from her past experience in Fashion, Styling, and Product Development she has created a thoughtfully designed and irresistibly scented collection. Each candle is lovingly handcrafted in her petite L.A. bungalow using a small batch approach with the utmost focus on precision and care. The product aesthetic is minimalist and clean and will make a beautiful addition to any home.
