The Tradition candle is a collaboration with Francis Kurkdjian, renowned perfumer and creator. True to the Papier d'Arménie® spirit, the Tradition candle is reminiscent of the olfactory world of the legendary booklet Tradition Triple. Scents with sweet, vanilla, and balsamic notes reminiscent of the scents of the Orient.

Vegetable wax, cotton wick, approximately 220 g for more than 50 hours of burning time. Produced in France using exceptional expertise inherited from master wax makers.
When using the candle for the first time, let it burn for 2 or 3 hours at a time, until all the wax on the surface has become liquid. This will ensure your candle burns evenly the next time.

Extinguish the flame so that the hot wax diffuses its aromas.
Never leave a candle burning unattended for more than 3 hours at a time.
Trim the wick regularly to a length of 3 to 5 mm. This will allow the candle to burn longer and prevent the wick from blackening in the wax.
Always use a snuffer or dip the burning wick into the wax to extinguish it.
Avoid inhaling smoke directly.
Ventilate the room after use.
Burn the candle out of reach of children and pets.
Do not expose candles to drafts.
Do not place candles near a heat source.
Place the candles in an upright position.
Do not blow on the flame to extinguish it.
Always use a candle holder.
Do not leave matches or other debris on the wax to avoid splintering.
Never use liquid to extinguish a candle.
Do not move a burning candle.
Never place the candle on a cold surface such as marble.
Vegetable Wax, Cotton Wick.
The history of Papier d’Arménie™ starts in the 19th century when, on a trip to Armenia, Auguste Ponsot noticed the local people scented and disinfected their homes by burning benzoin. This traditional and ecologically-sound practice appealed, and he decided to import the product to France.

The "traditionnel" booklet, first produced in 1885, with its sweet, vanilla and balsamic notes evocative of the Far East.

The "Arménie" booklet. The aromas of incense and myrrh fit well with the woody and vanilla notes. The booklet is the outcome of a meeting Francis Kurkdjian, the famous perfumer.

The "la Rose" booklet, redesigned by Francis Kurkdjian. With roses imported from Iran and Turkey, it builds a dual fragrance conveyed by a full-bodied rose, fruity as petal jam with a mellow touch.

Nice candle

"Burns really slow and very subtle beautiful scent"

Ruder (5/5)

My bedroom smells heavenly

"The pets insist on congregating in my room to nap and play. With the summer humidity, the room began to smell a bit like a kennel-ugh! This candle doesn't "cover" the odor but seems to remove it. It burns evenly with no sooty residue, and the scent of Tradition is simply the best, I'm not sure which essential oils are used in the formula, but I'm guessing woods and resins like benzoin play a big part. Also tonka bean with its creamy fragrance reminiscent of vanilla, caramel and honey. I'm nervous because my candle is almost gone and it is now out of stock at beautyhabit, com. I'll definitely be adding my name to the "email when available" list."

Just as lovely as the paper

"I've love the Papier d'Arménie scented burning papers for years, but I hadn't tried the candles until now. It's a milder version of the same scent that I can leave burning for longer to make an entire room pleasant."
