Mango Butter Cream
This light face cream with mango butter is bound to make an impression with its fruity fragrance and the benefits of its intelligent formula.
Thanks to a fine molecular texture and natural lipids from Caribbean flora, the cream comes very close to the skin’s own lipid structure. It supports the skin’s elasticity and tone. Successfully regulating the skin’s moisture content prevents wrinkles from forming.
Caring, vitalizing and regenerating: this straightforward, essential cream does it all and makes for a radiant complexion.
The shea butter, plant-derived squalane and avocado oil included in the formula reinforce the nourishing, moisturizing and protective properties of the mango butter. Shea is also reputed to be regenerative and softening, while calendula extract is soothing and the vitamin E helps prevent ageing.
The mango tree (Mangifera indica L.) is an evergreen, native to India and Burma. It is widely cultivated in the Caribbean for its fleshy fruit that is rich in vitamin C and has a sweet, aromatic flavour. The mango was introduced into the West Indies in the 18th century to provide food for the colonists and slaves, and is now grown in many private gardens. Mangos are one of the most commonly eaten fruits in the Caribbean islands.
The very juicy flesh surrounds a flat, smooth stone, in the middle of which is a large almond that contains a creamy, yellowy fat known as mango butter. This precious oily substance, obtained by cold-pressing the stone, boasts emollient virtues. Extremely rich in fatty acids (including isostearic and oleic acids), and containing unsaponifiables (phytosterols, oleic alcohol, squalene and polyphenols), it creates an excellent protective barrier for the skin and helps regenerate the epidermis.

Mango Butter Cream should be applied morning and evening to cleansed skin.
Rub over the neck and face, working from the centre out, remembering to include behind your ears.
A very versatile cream, it can be used as a base beneath foundation and as an eye contour cream, applied with your fingertips using gentle pats, working from the inside to the outside of the eye. Thanks to its specific lipid structure, Mango Butter Cream improves the skins natural barrier and is suitable for all skin types, especially fragile and dehydrated skin.
Regular use significantly boosts hydration of the skin, restoring its elasticity and tone. Each and every day, Mango Butter Cream leaves skin bright, pure, fresh and radiant, and helps keep wrinkles at bay.
Mango Butter Cream also complements the other cosmetic treatments in the LIGNE ST BARTH range and is the perfect finishing touch to your purifying, toning beauty ritual.
