Alcohol-Free Styling Gel.
Lock in sleek style and structure with this alcohol-free hair gel for men and women that simultaneously conditions and fortifies hair for flawless looks. Gel à l’Hibiscus is enriched with hibiscus flower extract to boost shine and strength. Sweet almond oil rich in vitamin E and omega 9, moringa seed oil, and walnut extract were also added to seal in moisture and tame frizz. With a subtle passion fruit fragrance adored by all genders.
In 1986, Jean-Marie Greyl became concerned that hair gels, particularly those used by men, contained excessive alcohol and synthetic agents that dehydrate hair and suffocate the scalp. So he set out to create a natural, alcohol-free hair gel that provides structure without inflicting damage. By combining the film-forming properties of proteins with the fixing power of styling resins, Jean-Marie designed a health-forward formula originally known as Gel à la Kératine. In 2012, we renamed it Gel à l’Hibiscus when Leonor Greyl R&D director David Thomas Brooks replaced keratin with hibiscus extract, chosen for its fortifying properties.
