Isabey has launched a new version of their 1924 fragrance, Lys Noir.

The aromas of black pepper enhance the lush touch of narcotic flowers: with their spicy animalic facets, tuberose and narcissus add to this mysterious aura. In the base, patchouli utilizes its dark sensual attraction in a game between ebony and a chord of milky sandalwood. A forbidden game gently wrapped in a hint of musk.

Why we’re addicted: Lys Noir plays with the contrasts around the lush and heady scent of lilies.

This new edition of the mythical “Lys Noir“ celebrates 90 years of Maison Isabey. Braided by sandalwood and musk, the Lily blossoms in its absolute majesty on a bed of white flowers and spicy notes.

Brand Info

Isabey Parfums made their debut in Paris at 20 rue de la Paix in 1924 at the height of a glamorous era, a time when opulence and glamour ruled the day. Romantic names such as Lys Noir, L’Ombre de Carthage, La Route d’Emeraudea remain references in the history of perfume. Today, Isabey Paris has been resurrected with the help of Parfums Panouge and with it came the relaunch of its infamous luscious Gardenia perfume that uses pure Gardenia extract instead of a Gardenia accord.
