Brand Info
Sangre de Fruta Botanical was founded by Allison Audrey Weldon. Allison has worked in fashion and costume for film for the past decade, which has allowed her the opportunity to live in Melbourne, Australia and London, UK. In 2010 Allison returned to her roots in Vancouver, finding solace in living on the edge of the ocean, growing her balcony garden and seemingly exponential number of house plants, all the while learning about holistic health and natural perfumery.
In order to satisfy her need to ground herself by connecting to the earth, Allison started gardening, making infused oils from plants and making body products in her spare time. Her aim for Sangre de Fruta is to bring the beauty of the botanical world into peoples' lives, if even for one moment a day. She believes there are great changes needed in the beauty industry, and that she can be a part of that change.
