Made in Japan.

Because the towel retains sericin—a skin-friendly protein—it has a rougher texture compared to flat-woven silk mitts at first. However, with continued use, it leaves the skin feeling remarkably soft and smooth. It gently removes dirt and provides a refreshing, clean finish.

You might feel a slight viscousness the first time you use this towel, but that is sericin from the raw silk. It gives a fantastic and invigorating feel to the skin when exfoliating.

Sericin is obtained from silk worms. It is natural protein which has a very similar quality to natural moisturizing ingredients from our skin that is super rich in “serin” (amino acids). “Serin” can maintain moisture more than collagen and also penetrates really well into the skin.
