Merida - Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula is a lush region that is home to thousands of ancient ceremonial water wells known as cenotes - the pueblo magico of Merida is particularly known for these.  Merida refreshes your spirit with the scent of lush greens, warm limestone and dry amber that surround these natural wells.
The glass vessels were hand blown by artisans in Mexico City. Be sure to use them for your favorite Margarita or Paloma once you’ve burned through your candle.

- Free of Phthalates, Paraffin and Palm Oil.
- Vegan.

Light the candle, take a deep breath and be transported to Merida. Inhale the scent of the cenotes to add lightness to your day.

Sandra, the founder of Nopalera, was raised by Mexican immigrant parents in California near the US/Mexican border, and she founded Nopalera to celebrate her culture. Loud and proud. No apologies.

The nopal cactus is an ancient symbol of Mexican culture. It’s also one of the most sustainable, nourishing, and resilient crops in the world. You can eat it, make textiles from it, and use it to hydrate your skin and hair.

We’ve taken our inspiration–and our name–from this incredible plant. It’s strong, resilient, and beautiful. Just like Nopalera. Nopalera is committed to making high-end products with clean ingredients and celebrating natural beauty and resilience wherever they find it.
