LIGNE ST BARTH Coconut Oil is a non-hydrogenated oil that contains no stabilisers or emulsifiers. It solidifies at temperatures below 25 °C. Simply warm it up in the sun or reheat the bottle in hot water, temperature must not exceed 40 °C.

Important:
Do not reheat in the microwave. This reversible solidification does not affect the quality of the oil. Coconut Oil does not protect you against the sun. If you are going out in the sun, use a product with a sun protection factor corresponding to your skin type and physical activity.

The coconut palm (Cocos nucifera) is the trademark of tropical island coasts. The palm has an exceptionally long life and has played a traditional role in the beauty of Caribbean women. Coconut oil, obtained by pressing the dried flesh of the coconut, is used in cosmetics to nourish, soften and protect both skin and hair. Rich in fatty acids (including lauric and myristic acids) and vitamins A and E, it provides intensive nourishment for particularly dry, rough, damaged or inelastic skin.

Caress your face and add a touch of light:
To nourish and protect your face and neckline, apply Coconut Oil in the morning by lightly massaging in, using your fingertips for the area around your eyes. Its light consistency melts instantly and brightens up all skin types, including extremely dry skin.

Refresh your body and relieve your mind:
Using soft strokes, apply Coconut Oil on your body when slightly wet to relieve tension and soften your skin. After showering with Extra Mild Shower Gel – suitable for very dry skins – Coconut Oil nourishes your skin with a veil of softness. With a wonderful melting consistency, the oil swathes your body in a warm bubble of tropical perfume, with the scent of coconut mingling with delicate vanilla. Used with the gentle strokes of a massage, the oil imparts a comfortingly mellow feeling of reverie. Combine with the Avocado Oil for even more intensive nourishment and to combat your dry skin.

Enjoy a soak in the bath for silky smooth skin:
Before getting in the bath, add one or two capfuls of Coconut Oil. Alternatively, prepare a bubble bath by mixing three tablespoons of Extra Mild Shower Gel with three tablespoons of Coconut Oil and three tablespoons of Body Lotion with tiare, lily or vanilla scent. When in the bath, gently massage all over to gain maximum benefit from the oil’s many virtues. Coconut Oil is also the perfect exfoliating complement to the Papaya Peeling Shower Cream. Mix one teaspoon of Coconut Oil with two tablespoons of Papaya Peeling Shower Cream to obtain a thick paste. Apply using slow circular movements, then rinse off with warm water. Dry yourself after a bath or shower by patting your body with a soft towel, leaving your skin smooth, supple and soothed.

Pamper your nails for fabulous hands and feet:
Put a few drops of Coconut Oil on the tips of your fingers and massage in gently until absorbed. The oil strengthens your nails and softens your cuticles, enhancing your manicure. Applying Coconut Oil all over your hands soothes damaged and dry skin. Allow the Coconut Oil to work overnight by wearing gloves. The oil also lends itself perfectly to treating calluses and dry feet. Use in a foot spa, or apply after a gentle exfoliation with a pumice stone, before taking a bath. Alternatively, apply Coconut Oil and allow to work overnight beneath socks. Smooth, revitalized and soft, your hands and feet will regain their wonderfully fine elegance.

Pamper your hair for a radiant look:
Rub Coconut Oil into damp hair and allow to rest for 30 minutes. (Wrap your head in a warm towel to boost performance.) Apply as an overnight hair mask to damaged hair to gain full benefit of the oil and delicately perfume your hair with a sophisticated sweet scent.

Finally, round off the treatment using Extra Mild Shampoo with Spirulina Algae. If your hair needs untangling, the Revitalizing Cream Rinse with Cotton Seed Milk Scented Jasmine is the perfect finishing touch for graceful, shiny hair. Use a tiny amount of Coconut Oil on the ends of your hair to keep them looking beautiful. Nourishing your scalp and hair prevents hair from drying out due to the wind, sun, seawater or chlorine from the pool. Coconut Oil brings shine and vitality back to dull and lifeless hair.
