The flower press is a beautiful and functional piece that can press multiple flowers at the same time. Having pressed flowers for 30+ years, Sunnie Lane's flower press has all the components needed to successfully press your own flowers! Each floral press comes with instructions on how to use it. Each press comes assembled and ready to use.

Measures approx.: 4.75" L x 0.75" W x 4.75" H.

These flower presses are the perfect floral gift. The press is offered in a natural wood and has a beautiful floral design etched into it. They not only press flowers really well but they are also a beautiful decor piece for a tabletop, counter, etc.
Pressing your own flowers is very simple with this cute flower press! Simply follow the below instructions:

Unscrew the 4 wing nuts in the 4 corners.

Between the 2 pieces of wood are some layers of cardboard and white blotter paper.

You want to put your flowers between the 2 sheets of white blotter paper. The blotter paper helps absorb the moisture from the flowers when you press them.

You can put multiple flowers on the same sheet of blotter paper. Just don’t overlap the flowers.

Once you have your flowers between the blotter paper, you can reassemble the flower press.

You can now begin tightening the flower press by turning the wing nuts. You want to try and tighten the 4 corners as evenly as possible. It is normal to see the wood start to bow a little as you tighten. You don’t have to go super crazy with how much you tighten the press.

After you’ve tightened the press all there's left to do is wait! It is recommended to let the flowers stay in the press for 2-3 days. It is also recommended to put the press outside or in the sunlight to help with the drying process. If you don’t put the press outside, it can take longer for the flowers to dry out. If you open the press and the flowers are still a little wet, you can close the press back up and wait longer.

You can reuse the same sheets of cardboard and blotter paper over and over again!

Note:
Some flowers press better than others. Thicker flowers can be harder to get a good press. But experiment and see what you like!
Natural wooden press with brass hardware.
Sunnie Lane began pressing flowers in 1990. She was perfecting the flower pressed bookmark. As they grew in popularity, the realized they need more flowers! Growing space for their flowers in Arizona and Utah, Sunnie Lane began to expand the way they pressed their flowers. Now they make magnets, jewelry, and more! Starting with Grandma's knowledge of flower pressing, Sunnie Lane really became a wonderful company that combines beautiful fresh pressed flowers with tradition inspired techniques.
