"I used them in my hair while surfing. They say in about 3x longer than other hair bands, and sometimes never get dislodged. I use them in a bun style, start with ponytail, wrap into a bun and secure with another band. I suggest holding bands in place by pushing a single bobby pin through both bands if you are choking on your hair in the water like me. Also, if they pop off, the pin prevents them from getting lost."
