Lush, Sensual, Smoky. From the Heretic vault, Jasmine Smoke is not a bright bouquet, but a flower that breathes in the dark—narcotic, creamy jasmine with a faint indolic whisper that feels more like skin than petals. Blonde tobacco rises in a honeyed curl, adding warmth and a gentle smoky shadow.

Why we're addicted: Tonka bean brings a drowsy almond sweetness, as labdanum lingers beneath, glowing with balsamic warmth and dark amber depth.

Notes:
Orange Flower, Grandiflorum Jasmine, Guiacawood, Patchouli, Tabacco.

Jasmine Smoke is a Limited Edition re-release of a classic Heretic fragrance.

Jasmine has always existed between worlds. Blooming at night, Jasminum grandiflorum releases its narcotic perfume when logic softens and the senses take over. Long revered in ritual and medicine, jasmine speaks the language of the soul, sensual, dreamlike, and unapologetically alive.

In Jasmine Smoke, the flower opens in full indolic bloom: lush, animalic, and intimate. Dimethyl anthranilate, a naturally occurring component of jasmine and orange blossom, amplifies its paradox, sweet yet feral, floral and flesh intertwined. A soft radiance of orange flower oil lifts the opening before the fragrance descends into warmth and shadow.

Tonka bean and patchouli ground the composition, their almond sweetness and damp earthiness anchoring jasmine’s volatility. Smoke emerges through frankincense, long burned to bridge the material and the divine, its pale resin rising in quiet spirals. Cistus labdanum adds leathery depth, while tobacco leaf brings a contemplative warmth, ritualistic and intimate.

In the base, vanilla planifolia softens the smoke with balsamic sweetness as birch oil leaves a dark, smoldering trace, wood touched by fire, matter transformed.

Jasmine Smoke is an alchemical union of anima and animus, bloom and ash, light and shadow. A perfume of integration, where opposites fuse and transformation unfolds not through purity, but through fire.

Heretic Parfum was founded in 2010 by master perfumer Douglas Little. They call themselves Heretics because they're different than traditional fragrance houses. As innovators in the clean beauty space, they work with safe synthetics and naturally-derived ingredients—right down to their organic sugarcane alcohol base. They blend by hand in small batches like ancient perfumers and alchemists. Heretic is for the customer who is seeking unique, seductive, and earthy scents.
