The sparkling and bright top note of blackcurrants and green leaves (Philosykos and L'Ombre dans l'Eau) is stimulated by the freshness of pink peppercorn, citrus fruits, and spices (L'Eau).
The heart note is a blend of roses (L'Ombre dans l'Eau), Egyptian geraniums and tuberoses (Do Son), delicately sprinkled with iris and violet.
Lastly, the base consists of woody notes, balms, and resins. A touch of eucalyptus, the essential "olfactory accident," makes the addiction stronger.

Through the clear bottle with its solid base, reminiscent of the paper weights sold in the boutique, a candlewick reveals itself, a nod to the candles made by the House. The magnetized cap made of black Bakelite is decorated with a seal engraved with the famous address.

The Diptyque story began in Paris at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain with, at its heart, three friends driven by the same creative passion. Christiane Gautrot was an interior designer, Desmond Knox-Leet, a painter, and Yves Coueslant, a theater director and set designer. The first two collaborated designing fabrics and wallpaper for Liberty and Sanderson.
The collection of personal fragrances, skincare and home fragrances are imprinted with a distinctive and particular olfactory signature. The creations express themselves in unusual ways to delight loyal and initiated fans and enlightened novices.
