Roma Heirloom Tomato Candle
The tomato is a kiss from mother nature and the signature scent of Flamingo Estate's garden. This is a powerful candle with the unique aroma of freshly crushed tomato leaves.
The goat shed is a hidden gem at the Estate, a tiny jewel box of delight where apothecary jars line the walls with medicine from Mother Nature. Flamingo Estate goes there for inspiration, to linger on the porch and soak up the sun that bounces off the walls. Their vegetable garden is here — where tomatoes hang heavy on the vine, their silky skin stretching to contain their sweet juice, their leafy vines reaching for the tops of the trellis. They love biting into a sun warmed tomato and crushing the soft leaves in their hands. Flamingo Estate captured this with the Roma Heirloom Tomato Candle. The smell is sweet and green with a hint of sharpness, smoothed out by notes of earth. It’s an unexpected delight that conjures Summer whenever I light it.
Adriatic Muscatel Sage Candle
Sacred, spiritual, and wholly transportive. The sage in this candle carries with it salt breezes from the Adriatic — and the deep earthiness of the garden.
Sage of all varietals grow thickly on the hillsides, attracting butterflies and bees with their showy towers of architectural flowers. The leaves are where the magic lies. Soft, velvety, and wildly aromatic, rubbing the leaves between fingers to release the earthy, herbaceous scent. Climbing Tuscan Rosemary Candle
Once it begins burning, the rosemary smells like a stimulating feast of camphor and wood. The herbaceous scent warms rooms and spirits with deep and lovely earthiness — like fresh air from an open window.
Walking down the stairs at the Estate, Climbing Rosemary grows wild, spilling over the bricks onto the path, and trailing down the hillside. The scent hits the nose instantly. It’s powerful and herbaceous, with traces of camphor. Rosemary is known to stimulate the mind and enhance memory. Flamingo Estate loves that the candle brings them back to a time in the garden, their happiest place.
The candles are packaged in boxes with an FSC certification, which means they were made using materials from responsibly managed forests, including some recycled paper products.

When burning your candle for the first time, allow it to burn for 2 to 3 hours, until the top layer of the wax has completely melted. This will prevent the wax from tunneling around the wick. When burning the candle after the first burn, do not let it burn for over 3 hours at a time.
Ideally, it is recommended to keep the wick trimmed to 1/4 inch at all times to prevent the candle from emitting smoke or the wick falling into the wax.
After each burn, see that the wick is centered in the wax. This will also ensure that the glass does not overheat. The wick and flame should never be touching the glass. When approaching the end of the candle, leave 1/4 inch of wax unburned and ensure you are not burning the candle for more than 3 hours. The glass can get overheated without the presence of wax and break.
