The warm and woody notes of the Tabacco Toscano Scented Candle lead Santa Maria Novella on a journey between Italy and the distant East. A journey taken within your own home, where the velvety and mysterious fragrance of Tabacco Toscano Eau de Cologne diffuses.

The nuances of bergamot and tabacco toscano leaves evoke a gentle dream with bold aromas. They are complemented by a smoky base of vanilla, radiating unparalleled sweetness and softness.

For the Firenze 1221 Edition, the candle testifies to a craftsmanship tradition and refined production, utilizing the highest quality raw materials.

All Santa Maria Novella’s candles are manufactured in the Via Reginaldo Giuliani facility in Florence with high quality raw materials.
For first-time use, leave the candle burning until the surface is completely liquid.

Never leave a burning candle unattended, and do not move it when lit or when the wax is still liquid.

Extinguish with a candle snuffer, regularly trim the wick to 3-5 mm, and keep it in a central position.

Avoid placing a burning candle in direct contact with any surface, and do not let it burn for longer than 3 hours at a time.
Santa Maria Novella Pharmacy (Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella) is probably the oldest pharmacy in the world that is still in operation. Dominican monks established the apothecary when they began growing herbs to make salves, balms and medicines for use in their infirmary. News of the extraordinary quality of their products spread far and wide. In 1612, the monks opened their doors to sell to the public.

The pharmacy still uses only natural raw materials of the highest quality and continues to follow the ancient procedures originated by the Founding Fathers. Most of the medicinal herbs used are grown locally. Products are never tested on animals.
