Inspired by the fairy tale books of the 19th century, the Rhubarb Thief Discovery Set is presented in a collectible storybook format. Inside are six hand–tipped watercolor illustrations by artist Sam Wolf Connelly, telling the story of Monsieur Lapin and his rhubarb alchemy.
Rhubarb Thief
Green, Tart, Dangerous. This fragrance captures the daring spirit of pilfered treasures and fleeting indulgence. Bold notes of rhubarb, grapefruit, and cedarwood create a vibrant blend layered with a touch of irreverence.
Beekeeper
Sun-baked wood and warm beeswax, buttery, gold, and dense with the ghost of a hundred flowers. The bees’ own musk rises, intimate and unmistakably alive. Honey follows in a deep glow, not a simple sweetness but true work of transformation. Soft puffs of smoke curl in, dry and calming, turning the air velvety and strange.
Fourteen Carrots
Fresh, Woody, Velvety. Fourteen Carrots begins in the earth, where sweetness grows in darkness. Carrot absolute is the heart of the fragrance, carrying the scent of soil and sun. Plum slips in with a ripe, shadowed juiciness that makes the carrot glow.
Jasmine Smoke
Lush, Sensual, Smoky. From the Heretic vault, Jasmine Smoke is not a bright bouquet, but a flower that breathes in the dark—narcotic, creamy jasmine with a faint indolic whisper that feels more like skin than petals. Blonde tobacco rises in a honeyed curl, adding warmth and a gentle smoky shadow.
Dirty Hinoki
Grounding Hinoki wood blends with crushed herbs for an earthy and ethereal plant-based scent that’s a Japanese “forest bath” in a bottle.

Heretic Parfum was founded in 2010 by master perfumer Douglas Little. They call themselves Heretics because they're different than traditional fragrance houses. As innovators in the clean beauty space, they work with safe synthetics and naturally-derived ingredients—right down to their organic sugarcane alcohol base. They blend by hand in small batches like ancient perfumers and alchemists. Heretic is for the customer who is seeking unique, seductive, and earthy scents.
