"Before the pandemic, I would travel to Paris about 2x a year and I can say that this definitely takes me there. I never stayed at the Costes hotel but the woody blend has an old world feel that adds warmth and comfort to any space. It doesn't scream a particular scent and I think people like it because of that. Sort of woody, boozey, nutmeg-y but nothing jumps out or is dominating. Actually reminds me a lot of L'Hotel. I like to spray it around at night during the fall. It doesn't have the most intense staying power but probably for the better. It lingers, you enjoy, and fades away elegantly."
