Position the tweezer to grasp the tick firmly by getting as close to your pet's skin as possible.
With even pressure, grip the tick and pull upwards to completely extract it.
Ensure tick head has been removed. Do not twist or squeeze the tick. Avoid pulling on the coat.
Clean tweezer tips after each use with alcohol wipe or peroxide. Tweezer can be sanitized in an autoclave or barbicide.
