With its pure lines and frosted glass, this Papier d'Arménie® candle constitutes the sensuous, decorative version of the famous perfumed paper.

In keeping with the spirit of Papier d'Arménie®, these candles are produced using the same traditional manufacturing methods. The Papier d'Arménie® candle was the fruit of a collaboration with renowned perfumer Francis Kurkdjian.

Made from vegetable wax and beeswax, it has a cotton wick that provides a burn time of more than 50 hours.
Ensure that the wick is straight and properly centered. Before each use, carefully snip the wick to a height of just half a centimeter.

Never move your candle when burning and never put it directly on cold surfaces such as marble. When your candle has been burning for five or six hours running, extinguish it to allow the wax to cool. Make sure the wick remains straight and well centred. Make a delicate cut to leave a inch long wick before relighting, or if the flame gets too high.

Do not leave your burning candle unattended. Keep away from children.
Made from a combination of vegetable wax and beeswax with a cotton wick.
The history of Papier d’Arménie™ starts in the 19th century when, on a trip to Armenia, Auguste Ponsot noticed the local people scented and disinfected their homes by burning benzoin. This traditional and ecologically-sound practice appealed, and he decided to import the product to France.

The "traditionnel" booklet, first produced in 1885, with its sweet, vanilla and balsamic notes evocative of the Far East.

The "Arménie" booklet. The aromas of incense and myrrh fit well with the woody and vanilla notes. The booklet is the outcome of a meeting Francis Kurkdjian, the famous perfumer.

The "la Rose" booklet, redesigned by Francis Kurkdjian. With roses imported from Iran and Turkey, it builds a dual fragrance conveyed by a full-bodied rose, fruity as petal jam with a mellow touch.
