This fragrance was created by Francis Kurkdjian, a renowned perfumer, to celebrate the Year of Armenia in France in 2006. An authentic edition designed for a true olfactory journey, its orientalist scent features an amber-vanilla accord where myrrh essence resonates with the essence of Ceylon cinnamon leaves.
Papier d'Arménie® can be used all year round to scent your home and create an atmosphere of well-being.
Detach a strip, fold it into an accordion shape, place it on its edge on a heat-resistant surface, light it and then blow out the flame to avoid igniting it as it must burn slowly.

The history of Papier d’Arménie™ starts in the 19th century when, on a trip to Armenia, Auguste Ponsot noticed the local people scented and disinfected their homes by burning benzoin. This traditional and ecologically-sound practice appealed, and he decided to import the product to France.
