A ruled journal, created to be used as a grimoire. The mossy green cover is adorned with an ornate copper foil emblem of an apple tree, emerging from the soil, lifted by the hand of the witch. The ancient blessing “nunc benedictione holera aliosque fructus sanctificare ac benedicere digneris, ut summentibus ex eis sanitatem" adorns the emblem, ensuring that the plants that are written about in the grimoire, bring health and good fortune to those who consume them. Created in collaboration with Chloe Zhao’s Hamnet.

They are inspired by the occult, the eccentricities of the Victorian era, naturalist prints, and treasures of the plant and animal kingdom. The company was established in 2015 by Melissa Constandse, named for the salty, crystal-clear blue shores of her home in the Yucatan Peninsula.
