Soil to Studio

Soil to Studio is a Brooklyn based textile design studio. They make handcrafted slow textiles for home and everyday living. Textiles which bring an understated luxury, warmth and softness to our homes. They also make everything by hand; the old-fashioned way.

These textiles are designed in Brooklyn and made in India by amazing weavers and block-printers who live in India’s numerous villages. They are known to create masterpieces by their hands. Every piece crafted at the studio is a labor of love and a story of the perfect imperfections of human hand. This very journey is also embedded in the name - Soil to Studio; where soil signifies the land to which the weavers belong, to which they owe their craft and livelihood and to the organic, natural ethos that the company has built their products on.
