This gentle yet highly effective dandruff treatment shampoo is rich with natural ingredients that soothe flaky or irritated scalps. The hero ingredient, bee propolis, has antiseptic properties to help prevent further scalp conditions. Bain Traitant à la Propolis is color-safe and free of sodium laureth sulfate (SLS), a common chemical detergent found in many hair products and potentially can irritate sensitive scalps and fade color-treated strands. This gentle wash carries the rich scent of ylang ylang flowers.

The idea of including propolis in a shampoo came to Jean-Marie Greyl after a family trip to Egypt, where he learned that ancient Egyptians used this resin-like bee byproduct to preserve mummies because of its remarkable anti-microbial properties. After 10 years of research, he introduced Bain Traitant à la Propolis to the market in 1994 as the first gentle dandruff treatment shampoo of its kind for everyday use.

Wet hair thoroughly.
Emulsify a small amount of Bain Traitant à la Propolis dandruff treatment shampoo between your palms.
Apply to the scalp and massage, adding small amounts of water progressively as a gentle lather builds.
Rinse thoroughly.
Repeat. The first wash cleanses while the second application treats. Massage into the scalp and leave on for 3 minutes.

Pro Tips:
For maximum benefit, pre-treat your scalp with Huile Apaisante, award-winning, naturally soothing, and anti-inflammatory oil.
For especially irritated and dry scalps and hair, mix Bain Traitant à la Propolis with Crème aux Fleurs, soothing cleansing cream. Place small, even amounts (50/50) in the palm of your hand before applying. Leave on for 10 minutes before gradually emulsifying and rinsing.
