The 16th century Florentine Muschiari (think the scent musketeers of Catherine de Medici) pioneered the combination of citrus, bergamot with woody notes and patchouli. Fresh floral blooms with a hint of sensual vanilla orchid and black musk add gorgeous regal dimension.
Why we’re addicted: Deep and powerful, a unisex fragrance inspired by fire-lit evening in the Renaissance Tuscan countryside.
Sicilian Lemon, Mandarin, Freesia, Bergamot, Coriander, Petit Grain, Lily of the Valley, Rose, Black Musk, Vanilla Orchid, Red Patchouli, Sandalwood from Mysore.

While sorting through the watery mess, Dr. Massimo found buried deep in his apothecary’s ancient basement a 16th-century manuscript containing these secret formulas. Remarkably not only had the document survived this deluge, it remained intact despite all the centuries undetected.
From the formulas commissioned by Catherine de Medici, Dr. Massimo chose the most beautiful, recreated it with all-natural essences and named the perfume “Caterina de Medici” in her honor.
