"The guest of Christmas"

When Florence Balducci dips her pen in her magical inkwell, it takes us into a whirlwind of meticulous details, populated with insects and flowers to tell wonderful stories. Inspired by a story with perfume accents, this artist and illustrator has opened the doors of her fantastic world.

From this meeting was born the Tale of Peony.
Working as a miniaturist, Florence created a box as if out of a valuable library. Its content is doubly attractive: a Peony fragrance and a scented key to hang in the secret cabinet ...
A soap box carved with the motif of peony and its soap dish decorated with gold and red complete this range, as well as a seasonal candle whose flames borrow their scents from an enchanted pine forest.

Directions

Do not let the candle burn more than three consecutive hours.
Keep the wick trimmed.
Do not place the burning candle on a fragile service.
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid all contact with the candle while burning.

Brand Info

The House of Fragonard...a passionate dedication.

It was shortly before the First World War that Eugène Fuchs, an entrepreneur at heart who had already been seduced by the magic of perfume, decided to set up his own perfumery based on the novel concept of selling perfumery products directly to the tourists who were beginning to discover the French Rivera’s charms. Parfumerie Fragonard was opened in 1926. Eugène Fuchs chose to name it after the famous Grasse-born painter, Jean-Honoré Fragonard (1732-1806), as a tribute to both the town of Grasse and to the refinement of 18th-century arts. Similarly, the choice of name expressed his desire to run his business in accordance with traditions.

This spirit has been loyally perpetuated by the three succeeding generations who have run and are still running the company.
