The scent of Paris en Fleur, fresh and flowery chypre rose, now captured in a limited-edition scented oval. It easily slips into drawers or hangs in wardrobes by its decorative ribbon and is engraved with a rose and framed by a white porcelain medallion.

For this celebration of Paris, diptyque draws its inspiration from the rose and its many variations: like the roses of Bagatelle or the roses you’d find in a flower market. To create this scent, diptyque collaborated with artist and friend, Pierre Marie. Together, they brought to life a fragrance inspired by Art Nouveau- a fragrant trellis on which rustic foliage and roses intermingle.

Bury it in a drawer. Slip it into a cupboard of clean and fresh household linens. Each oval of scented wax, engraved with the name of the scent, is encased in a white porcelain medallion in a discretely luxurious style. It has a decorative cotton cord so it can be hung up easily.

Free-spirited adventurers, Diptyque’s trio of founders have traveled all around the world, returning home with memories, fragrances, aspirations and inspiration…All the things that have now become part of the brand’s universe.

The Diptyque story began in Paris at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain with, at its heart, three friends driven by the same creative passion. Christiane Gautrot was an interior designer, Desmond Knox-Leet, a painter, and Yves Coueslant, a theater director and set designer. The first two collaborated designing fabrics and wallpaper for Liberty and Sanderson.

The collection of personal fragrances, skincare and home fragrances are imprinted with a distinctive and particular olfactory signature. The creations express themselves in unusual ways to delight loyal and initiated fans and enlightened novices.
