The fragrance Clair Matin is like morning dew. Only during the course of the day does it give up its warmer, fruitier notes.

The top note of this fragrance is decidedly bubbly. It is composed around the raspberry leaf absolute, the essence of Italian lemon and blackcurrant buds. On this agreement, are grafted the rose essence, violet, peony and chamomile. Finally, the bottom is made of apricot, sandalwood, musk and amber.

Les Parfums de Rosine launches Clair Matin, a new fragrance inspired by a salmon-pink climbing rose. Clair Matin was the first rose bush that Les Parfums de Rosine creator, Marie-Hélène Rogeon, planted in her garden.

It is a simple salmon-pink and very thorny rose with golden stamens in the heart. A rose that shows its best side just after daybreak where it suffuses a wonderful tangy, fresh fragrance. The fragrance Clair Matin is like morning dew. Only during the course of the day does it give up its warmer, fruitier notes.

Marie-Hélène Rogeon was born into a family of perfume makers. Her great grand-grand father Louis Panafieu was creating Eau de Cologne for the Emperor Napoleon III as well as a famous Pommade des Mousquetaires for his lacquer-like finished moustaches. I guess you could say it is in her blood...

The two main passions of Marie-Hélène are perfumes and… Roses. They are all so different; shy or proud, voluptuous or tender, with multiple shapes and colors, and the infinite variety of fragrance that the Rose give off speak to her. Marie-Hélène built her entire collection of rose perfumes, all different, from the fresher Un Zest de Rose to the more sensuous Une Folie de Rose.
