Ballerina No.1

SKU: 28969

A rose and peach accord on a milky base, for a sweet and sophisticated fragrance.

A rose tree with a fleeting perfume, a spiny bush which opens the olfactory field to every possibility and allows the perfumer, Delphine Lebeau, to create, by means of the perfume, a flesh and blood ballerina - in Marie-Helene Rogeon's imagination, a mischievous and delicate dancer.

Olfactory family: Fruity Floral

Notes:
Top: Pear, Peach, Freesia, Bergamot
Heart: Rose, Peony, Violet, Raspberry
Base: Milk, Vanilla, Musk, Sandalwood

Like a flower, the perfume begins with the rose, and is adorned, at its heart, with pale - almost white - shades.
The first notes, peach and pear, spring out with the grace of a leaping cat: sparkling, multi-colored. The rose and the peony, the floral fulcrum of this tender heart, spread their gentle, pastel facets wherever the dancer's arabesques take them. Like a flowing veil of milky white, the final harmony enfolds the skin and gives it the transparent hues of a porcelain figurine.

The porcelain pink bottle of Ballerina #1 is adorned with a tulle corolla. Petals or tutu, it mimics both rose and dancer. In its embossed box, of the same pink, the soft pebble of glass looks, if anything, even more graceful.
Alcohol denat, parfum, aqua, citronellol, linalool, coumarin, eugenol, geraniol, cinnamyl alcohol, citral, farnesol, d-limonene, alpha-isomethyl ionone, hydroxycitronellal, benzyl benzoate, benzyl salicylate, benzyl alcohol

Marie-Hélène Rogeon was born into a family of perfume makers. Her great grand-grand father Louis Panafieu was creating Eau de Cologne for the Emperor Napoleon III as well as a famous Pommade des Mousquetaires for his lacquer-like finished moustaches. I guess you could say it is in her blood...

The two main passions of Marie-Hélène are perfumes and… Roses. They are all so different; shy or proud, voluptuous or tender, with multiple shapes and colors, and the infinite variety of fragrance that the Rose give off speak to her. Marie-Hélène built her entire collection of rose perfumes, all different, from the fresher Un Zest de Rose to the more sensuous Une Folie de Rose.
