Whether at sail on the High Seas or at home in one’s private London Club, refreshments are essential. The British penchant for gin and tea is renowned and well-known - but there is nothing familiar about this scent.

Why we’re addicted: A fragrance as novel as the sight of land on the horizon, and at the same time as reassuring as - tea.
Notes:
Red Berries, Juniper Berry, Cardamom, Bergamot, Grapefruit, Fig Leaf, Fig Milk, Lavender, Magnolia, Geranium, Black Tea, Vanilla, Musks, Cedarwood, Ambergris, Wenge, and Oakmoss

From a fresh opening like a Captain’s tipple of juniper/gin-grapefruit tonic, it settles into a fig and black-tea signature. From High Seas to High Tea, the surprise lies in the reassuring comfort that comes next, as the milky-fig-tea accord takes hold. Progressively smooth; now magnolia, now lavender, but ultimately, the daring, dark and debonair woods (cedarwood, wenge) leave a trail as striking and vigorous as the wake of the East India Clippers, fast, cargo-bearing ships bringing teas, for the Earl of Grey, back from Darjeeling and Assam.

Perfumer: Bertrand Duchaufour
Alcohol Denat, Aqua, Parfum, Limonene, Coumarin, Linalool, Citronellol, Geraniol, Citral, Isoeugenol, Eugenol.

Penhaligon's understands the emotive power of scent. It can unlock memories and open doors; it can stop us in our tracks, lost somewhere for a moment in time. Recollections triggered by a dusting or iris, a whisper of clove, a burst of juicy nectarine, a trail of smoky incense, a creamy lick of vanilla.

Their fragrant adventure began in the Victorian era of decadence and carries us into the future as they strive to create original scents for the discerning eccentrics of today. True modern dandies and bold women who are proud to go their own way.
