Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella introduced Alba di Seoul eau de cologne in 2012 in honor of the city of Seoul.

Its bouquet of fresh green and crisp top notes introduces an intense heart characterized by Korean pine, and leads to woody oriental base notes.

Spray pump sold separately.

Why we're addicted: It’s an Oriental Woody fragrance for both men and women. Like a walk among the trees, fresh and green.

Notes:
Bergamot, Spices, Korean Pine, Conifers, Patchouli

A picture of a conifer forest decorates the box, emphasizing the soul of Alba di Seoul. This picture by photo artist Bae Bien-U, a well known Korean photographer, depicts a landscape of silence and serenity, beyond time and space. The picture instills a profound sense of mystery and eternity. “Moving through a pine forest” comments the artist, “I am fascinated by the beauty....... to me these trees seem like the flesh and blood of the Korean peninsula."

Santa Maria Novella Pharmacy (Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella) is probably the oldest pharmacy in the world that is still in operation. Dominican monks established the apothecary when they began growing herbs to make salves, balms and medicines for use in their infirmary. News of the extraordinary quality of their products spread far and wide. In 1612, the monks opened their doors to sell to the public.

The pharmacy still uses only natural raw materials of the highest quality and continues to follow the ancient procedures originated by the Founding Fathers. Most of the medicinal herbs used are grown locally. Products are never tested on animals.
