A creamy face mask with vitalizing passion fruit extract, moisturizing vegetable oil and vitamin E. Pink clay visibly clarifies the skin with its beneficial minerals and trace elements.

Benefits:
PASSION FRUIT:
The passion fruit (Passiflora edulis) is a climbing plant belonging to the Passifloraceae family, native to Paraguay, Brazil and north-east Argentina. Its name makes reference to the passion of Christ. The religious people who first discovered the plant in South America are believed to have seen the crown of thorns in the spiky tips of the flower.

The passion flower is cultivated for its fruit, and is grown like a vine on a frame in hot regions of the world. The passion fruit itself is known in Creole as maracudja, and maracujá in Brazil. It is also called “pomme-liane” (literally “climbing apples”) in New Caledonia, “grenadia” (due to its resemblance to the pomegranate) in Haiti and “grenadine” on the island of Réunion. In cosmetics, the flesh of the passion fruit is used for its vitamin C content, which is reputed to protect cells against free radicals resulting from pollution and UV rays. It also stimulates the synthesis of collagen (connecting tissue in the skin) and diminishes and prevents skin pigmentation due to the sun or old age.

PINK CLAY:
Used for thousands of years, clay is a mild, naturally occurring mineral product. It is the result of a long process of erosion taking place within the natural environment. Produced from the combined action of wind and water, it is extracted from the ground, dried in the sun and ground to a very fine powder. Rich in trace elements, pink clay possesses purifying, clarifying, re-mineralising and toning virtues. Due to its soothing and softening qualities, it is also recommended for delicate, sensitive and reactive skin types.

Rich in minerals, the pink clay or kaolin is composed of hydrated aluminium silicate and iron oxide, and contains a large quantity of silicon. This clay is a natural mineral belonging to the phyllosilicate family (similar to talc and mica minerals), and its layered structure results in excellent absorbing and concealing properties. It is also able to fix molecules to its surface, once in contact with the skin. The clay remineralises and detoxifies the skin by replacing the skin’s impurities and toxins with its own mineral salts. In cosmetics, pink clay is generally used as a base for masks and wraps, for tint boosters and toning treatments.

Mask your sensitivity and look at life through rose-tinted spectacles:

Once or twice a week, apply a generous layer of Cream Mask with Pink Clay and Passion Fruit to your face (avoiding the skin around the eyes), neckline and top of your chest. Relax for 15 to 20 minutes to allow the mask to work, before rinsing off thoroughly with warm water. Avoid rubbing, as this will reduce the clarifying effect.

With a sumptuously creamy consistency, this pale pink mask spreads easily and its dusty rose perfume of passion fruit instantly transports you away to a siesta beneath Caribbean palms. Its absorbing and cleansing power tightens dilated pores and removes traces of impurities.

An irrefutable moisturizing treatment, this mask promotes elasticity, while smoothing and regenerating your skin.

Suitable for normal to dry, fragile and mature skin types, this mask soothes, purifies, re-mineralises and firms the skin of your face.

After applying the Peeling Cream with Papaya, the Cream Mask with Pink Clay and Passion Fruit is the perfect finishing touch to your purifying and toning ritual. Your skin is now perfectly primed to absorb all the beneficial properties of the Tonic Lotion with Melon, Mango Butter Cream or Enriched Mango Butter Cream.
