DR. GEARY'S STORY
She has practiced pediatrics in Santa Fe, NM, and in Manhattan. Her practice integrates natural and ayurvedic principles into a modern pediatric approach. vedaBABY™ began in Dr. Geary's office: her patients and their families were seeking solutions to their children's rashes and needed skincare for the dry, sensitive and allergy challenged skin they suffered with. Dr. Geary realized that the skincare available to these families all contained parabens, methyl parabens, harsh chemicals or steroids. She started formulating the vedaBABY™ products as an alternative for families seeking simply natural and honestly pure skincare. The word spread beyond her patient population and families began calling. Women bringing their children to the office as well as Dr. Geary's teenage patients all wanted to use the products, and started buying the vedaBABY™ Butter. During the many pre- and post- natal visits in Dr. Geary's office, pregnant and nursing mothers asked her about the potential exposures to their baby of many skincare products.
