SPONGE uses an artisanal technique of water extraction, boiling the plants at specific temperatures and
lengths of time unique to each individual plant in order to harness the purest, most potent nutrients. This
extraction is done in-house by SPONGE phytochemists using live plants, without the use of any
chemicals. Once extracted, the essence is hand-blended into a light, nutritious olive oil base. Nature
truly is our supplier as we have been using the same fields and farms for over 30 years.
Sponge products are based in olive oil and mixed with organically grown herbs with no color additives. The creams take on the natural colors of the combined herbs. When exposed to the air the natural creams will begin to darken over time.
