Mallow is an herbaceous perennial plant of the genus Malva in the family Malvaceae. Mallow is a naturalized plant introduced from Europe to Japan for ornamental purposes. This wild plant grows in places from the central to southern parts of the main island of Japan. Its new shoots and young leaves are said to have been used as food since the eighth century B.C. Mallow flower extract is extracted from Common Mallow. It has an excellent function of softening dead skin cells, and it also serves as an anti-oxidant. This extract softens the skin, particularly the thickened dead cells caused by abnormal cell turnover due to aging, and thereby enhances the penetration of skin care products.

In the dermis of firm, resilient, elastic skin are regularly arranged bundles of collagen and elastin fibers. The spaces between the bundles of these fibers are filled up with mucopolysaccharides such as hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfate, which bring elasticity and flexibility to the skin.

However, as one ages the collagen bundles gradually become smaller and less elastin is produced. Moreover, the aging person begins to lose mucopolysaccharides, a type of powerful ingredient for the retention of moisture, especially hyaluronic acid.

To counter these conditions, Enrich Lift Moisture Lotion is formulated with the moisturizing and firming formulation of five kinds of collagens and five kinds of hyaluronic acids, along with the plumping formulation. Directions:
