For thousands of years, sandalwood has been the most coveted of sacred woods becasue it is the most fragrant. Form the opening of the store on boulevard Saint Germain, Diptyque offeres the precious boxes made of it. In Tonkin, sandalwood accompanied the childhood of Yves Coueslant, when he and his family went to enjoy the mountain air between Haiphong and Tam Dao.
