About the notes:
Amber: In the 10th century, an Arabic author named amber as one of North Africa’s most important products. It is said that Louis XV used amber to season his favorite dishes, and Queen Elizabeth I used it as a fragrance for her gloves. Its complex scent is a combination of earth, camphor, incense and tobacco, with hints of musk.
Patchouli: Patchouli is a tropical plant used as a fragrance for the first time in the 19th century. Long associated with the hippie movement, Patchouli has a powerful scent with earthy, smoky, woody, camphor and syrupy notes.
Benzoin: Benzoin or styrax is the balm or resin from plants of the Styraceae family. Mentioned by Baudelaire and Maupassant, Benzoin is used as incense, particularly by the Russian Orthodox church.
Notes:Amber, Patchouli and Benzoin.
