In the spring of 1571, Henri de Navarre, soon to be Henri IV, fell in love with Fleurette de Nérac, the gardener’s daughter. A few months later, he turned away from her, letting her fall in a deep sorrow. While the legend counts that she let herself drown of misery in a washhouse, she lived on for many years. It is a fresh and woody aroma, in homage to the pretty Florette.
