Dawn M. Spencer Hurwitz (DSH as she is called) is a unique talent and has been called a Perfume Genius by her devoted clientele.
Beginning her career as a Visual Artist, DSH came to Perfumery in 1991 and has since created perfumes based on Fine Art principles (texture, color, line, light, shape, expression), bringing a sense of brilliance to her fragrance designs. In keeping with the attention to detail of the Artist, each and every perfume is lovingly hand-blended, hand-poured, hand-labeled and boxed in her Boulder, Colorado studio.
All natural/botanical perfumes have always been a part of the repertoire of DSH but have recently become a growing part of her exciting work. With such dedication to the perfumery art-form, it is easy to see why Parfums des Beaux Arts by DSH are cherished and have garnered a cult and celebrity following.
