Dawn M. Spencer Hurwitz (DSH as she is called) is a unique talent and has been called a Perfume Genius by her devoted clientele.
Beginning her career as a Visual Artist, DSH came to Perfumery in 1991 and has since created perfumes based on Fine Art principles (texture, color, line, light, shape, expression), bringing a sense of brilliance to her fragrance designs. In keeping with the attention to detail of the Artist, each and every perfume is lovingly hand-blended, hand-poured, hand-labeled and boxed in her Boulder, Colorado studio.
All natural/botanical perfumes have always been a part of the repertoire of DSH, but have recently become a growing part of her exciting work. With such dedication to the perfumery art-form, it is easy to see why Parfums des Beaux Arts by DSH are cherished and have garnered a cult and celebrity following.

Orange blossom was one of the most sought after essences of the 18th Century and in the Court of Louis XV (called "Le Cour Parfumée - The Perfumed Court) it was the epitomy of grace and lightness. Eau de Fleurs d'Oranger was synonymous with Louis XV, so much so that it was renamed "Eau de Fleurs d'Oranger du Roi", posthumously.
Made of 100% all botanical ingredients; the animal notes are botanical replacement accords.
